One day my dad asked me to get in the car with the rest of my family. I had no idea what was going on, until we arrived at a place with dozens of shops but we were in the parking lot. We parked next to a girl I didn't know, which gave me questions like “Who is she?, “Is she going to give us anything?”. At that moment she showed us our first dog. We named him Guru after a lot of discussion. We have had him for 2 years now.
One day, a week after Guru’s first birthday, we were driving home from school when we saw a little black dog just standing on the road. It was burning hot outside and she seemed to be looking for water, so we took her home. When we got home we gave her food and water. My mom tried to find her owner but we had no luck. We let her stay the night and gave her a new name Chai. She has been with us for a year now, and Guru became used to having Chai around. Guru and Chai are good friends now.
